Work progress – 2

leave a comment »

The works are progressing very quickly now! I’ve been on site on the 29th Sept and I could see how many changes there have been since my last visit. The two flats have been joined in one unit and you can start to see how the house is going to be.

Here some pictures of the site at present:

Scaffolding to front facade

Modified window

Wooden frame to external store wall

New partition in the living room

New steel beam above corridor

Dry lining to wall to avoid damp

One of the chimney breasts have been removed

External digging to place damp-proof membrane to existing wall

Grid to reinforce ground floor concrete slab

In the next few days the new concrete slab of the ground floor will be put in place; next wednesday (6th Oct) works on the roof should start.

Keep following the updates on this blog!
